Samsung Tizen TV App
About Project
November 2016 - Current
I'm currently working on the next-gen DIRECTV app for the Samsung Tizen TVs. This is a brand new app being built from the ground up with a team of developers. The purpose of this app is to give the customer the full DIRECTV experience from their Samsung TV. This has been a fun, yet challenging project as it has pushed me to learn a lot of new technologies. I have worked on components that deal with DVR recordings and CSS3 animation effects when changing the channel.

Election HQ Mix TV App (2016)
About Project
September 2016 - November 2016
With a tight development timeframe, I worked with 3 other developers to complete this new TV app in about 1.5 months. We utilized our existing framework from our Sports TV apps as the foundation for this app. The app featured candidate bios, an Electoral College map, and results by state. The app displayed live data as received by the server. The app also featured a persistant banner which showed live results of the electoral count. The app was delivered by both satellite and broaband.

Olympics TV App (2016)
About Project
March 2016 - August 2016
I worked with two other developers to create this app. This app was created from scratch using our existing framework as the foundation. The app was available during the Olympics and showed current and upcoming events. It also showed medal counts and had the ability to record events. The app also provided channel options for viewing and recording if the user lived in an area where they have more than one local channel of the same network.

Sports Mix TV Apps (Tennis, Golf, and NFL Sunday Ticket)
About Project
September 2013 - October 2016
I have worked on a variety of sports mix apps: Tennis, Golf, and NFL Sunday Ticket. Each of these apps have a mix mode where the user can view up to 8 events and tune to them. The user can also open the app and view stats and scores, set recordings, favorite players, and watch video clips. The apps are webkit-based single-page applications built using HTML, CSS, and hand-coded Javascript.

About Project
October 2006 - July 2011
Beachbody.com is the ecommerce site for Beachbody's fitness products. I developed many of landing pages and email blasts for Beachbody.com for product launches, informercials, and A/B testing. Some of the these products include Hip Hop Abs, Rockin' Body, and 10-Minute Trainer. I was involved in software upgrades for the site. When I became a manager, I led two teams. One team focused on Beachbody.com and that other team focused on building email campaigns.

Run From Anywhere/Desert Sky Adventures
About Project
May 2015 - July 2016
I worked with client that mangaged both of these sites. Run From Anywhere is a virtual running site where users upload their time for the month to receive their medals. Desert Sky Adventures is the company site that has information about the in-person races. These sites already existed, so my involvement consisted of making simple website updates and fixing bugs as requested by the client. Some of these updates included modifying graphics, so there was minor design work involved.
